Jim has passed the National Home Inspector Examination that is given by The Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors. This Examination is currently recognized and required for licensing by the State of New Jersey.  

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Jim has performed over 2000 residential inspections. These inspections include structural condition assessments, water infiltration assessments, and condition assessments of all major systems (structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building envelope). Jim has also performed several commercial building inspections and several cause-of-loss investigations.

Jim has also worked as a field engineer for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. His duties in this position included performing site inspections at refineries and large chemical facilities located throughout the State. The main purpose of these inspections was to assess the structural integrity of containment structures and storage vessels.

Earlier in his career, Jim had worked for a local engineering firm and held the position of land development engineer. His duties in this position included performing site inspections and surveys, designing roadways, storm drainage systems, water supply distribution systems, and preparing site grading plans.
